Members are encouraged to return or renew books and items on time to avoid charges. Prompt returns help keep stock available and accessible for everyone in the community.
When a borrowed item becomes overdue, the library member will incur a fine of 30p per day, up to a maximum of £9.50 per item. Membership will be temporarily suspended until all outstanding charges on the account have been paid in full.

These charges do not apply to child memberships.
Income generated from fines will be reinvested directly into the library service, supporting ongoing improvements and maintaining provision for all users.
Members can check their current loans online or speak to a member of staff for assistance.
